Synopsis and Discussion

AQI readings are Code Green across the Triad on Tuesday with a cold air damming setup in place. Northeasterly trajectories will be the norm through the rest of the workweek as Hurricane Erin passes by to our east. A cold front will approach from the northwest on Thursday but rain chances look low at this time. Regardless, there will likely be a fair amount of cloudiness over the next few days that will keep ozone readings in check. Particle pollution levels upstream are low and Code Green concentrations are anticipated through the rest of the workweek. (Greg Perrotte / perrotgt@forsyth.cc)
