Synopsis and Discussion
Particle pollution continues code YELLOW, Friday, while cloud cover has limited ozone to code GREEN. A cold front will approach the Triad, Saturday, crossing the region, late in the day. Ahead of the front, showers and thunderstorms, will help to lower particle pollution back to upper code GREEN, as ozone remains code GREEN. Sunday, behind the front, a cleaner, drier, air mass will overspread the area resulting in GOOD air quality. Sunny, warm, and lower humidity, Monday, will allow for greater ozone production and a possible return to low code YELLOW (GENTRY).
