The input and involvement of survivors in the Family Justice Center movement is critical. Survivor involvement in Family Justice Centers helps ensure that the Center is meeting the needs of survivors and is set up to be a useful resource for the community.

There have been multiple focus groups held in Forsyth County to gather input from survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence over the past few months. Over twenty survivors have been involved in the process so far and have given expansive feedback, ranging from the fragmentation of current services in Forsyth County to the design of the future Forsyth County Courthouse.

Survivor involvement will continue to be incredibly important to the future Forsyth County Family Justice Center in the upcoming stages of development. If you are a survivor of domestic violence, child abuse, sexual assault, or elder abuse and would like to become involved, please send us a message through the contact form. We would love to hear from you.
