Join us for a Kwanzaa Celebration at the Central Library!
Come celebrate Kwanzaa at the Forsyth County Central Library on Tuesday, Dec. 31 from 2-5 p.m. In recognition of the principle Kuumba (Creativity), we'll be honoring Rachel Jackson and Carl Miller, enjoying performances by the North Carolina Black Repertory Company Youth Ensemble, and hearing from Dr. Felicia Piggott-Long. This event is presented by the Friends of the Malloy/Jordan East Winston Heritage Center and the North Carolina Black Repertory Company.Be sure to check out these great recommendations for Kwanzaa reading:
