Synopsis and Discussion

Air quality levels remain in the GREEN range but are responding to the return of sunshine and should end up in the upper part of the range. As the influence of the low offshore drift farther away, winds will start to shift around to the southwest by Friday afternoon. This should help AQI readings push into the lower YELLOW range Friday evening. More clouds and rain will begin to slide into the state Friday night and help produce more wet conditions for the weekend. This system should also help return AQI readings back into the GREEN range.
